Foundations for Learning Grant Announcement (Children)

Faith-based and other organizations may apply for a Foundations for Learning grant for projects that assist children in becoming ready for school. Activities funded include delivering services to eligible children and their families that foster the children’s emotional, behavioral, and social development; coordinating and facilitating access to the services available through community resources; providing ancillary services (transportation, child care) that facilitate the delivery of services; developing/enhancing early childhood community partnerships; evaluating strategies and services; and maintaining data systems. A total of $992,000 will be awarded for four grants.
