Rosies For All Kids Foundation awards grants
Rosies For All Kids Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and low-income families through early childhood care and education and other essential programs. First priority is given to experienced, community-based programs serving children in low-income areas, where many families struggle to find affordable, high-quality early education and care.
Over the past few years, the Foundation awarded more than 90% of the total grants to nonprofit early childhood care and education programs. Since inception, over 1,400 grants totaling more than $26 million have been made to 900 nonprofit organizations nationwide, helping thousands of young children acquire the confidence, knowledge and skills they need to achieve a brighter future.
What We Fund
The grant programs are currently organized into two main areas:
-Early Childhood Care and Education
-Direct service grants focusing on tuition subsidies, small renovation projects, supplies and equipment upgrades, playground construction and staff development opportunities.
-Cutie Patootie Center
-Capital support for new buildings and large renovation projects that will increase the availability of high-quality care and education in low-income, urban communities.
What We Do Not Fund
We do not offer grants for general operating support, salaries, or administrative needs. The Foundation does not award grants to individuals, school districts, municipalities, or programs outside the United States. Requests for annual fundraising appeals, event sponsorships, and items for auction are not considered.
How to Apply
Online inquiries are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The first step in the process is the online eligibility quiz: http://www.cybergrants.com/pls/cybergrants/quiz.display_question?x_gm_id=2597&x_quiz_id=1353&x_order_by=1. Upon successful completion of the eligibility quiz, qualifying organizations will be asked to submit an online Letter of Intent.
The purpose of this letter is to determine if your program or project fits within the Foundations current funding priorities. The online form collects primary contact information, basic organization information, details about the early childhood care and education program and details about the project for which the organization seeks funding.
