Become a Member: As a member of D.C. LEARNs, your dues not only support coalition projects, but members receive special benefits as well. We have several member categories for literacy organizations, ancillary organizations, and individuals. Individual memberships are ideal for people interested in contrbuting to D.C. LEARNs financially who are also interested in being “plugged in” to the literacy community here in Washington.

When you pay your Verizon phone bill: Verizon is a long-standing support fo D.C. LEARNs and of literacy in Washington, D.C. Verizon is committed to being America's Literacy Champion by creating public awareness, increasing funding and supporting organizations dedicated to improving America's literacy levels for the 92 million people who have serious problems with literacy. Verizon customers can join the effort by checking the box on their phone bill to donate $1 per month to support D.C. LEARNs' efforts.
