Mem Fox and Helen Oxenbury Literacy Event

Gather your friends, neighbors, and colleagues (and their children) and come to hear Mem Fox and Helen Oxenbury — two of the most gifted picture-book creators of our time. They are touring to promote their new book, Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes, and will be speaking on the importance of reading aloud. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Admission is free.

McPherson Square Metro stop/ 4 blocks from Farragut North

The Washington Post headquarters, 1150 15th Street NW, is two short blocks from the McPherson Square stop on Metro’s Orange and Blue lines. A parking garage is located across 15th Street from the Post building.

This evening is co-sponsored by The Children’s Book Guild of Washington DC, DC LEARNs, Reach Out and Read of Metro DC, The Reading Connection, and the Women’s National Book Association (DC Chapter), and The Washington Post.
