Development Officer (Part-Time)
Description:
Concerned Black Men, a national youth services organization, seeks a stable part-time executive to create a development plan & write grants for foundation and corporation support. The successful candidate will have:
1. Prior development or fundraising experience in the nonprofit field;
2. Significant experience in writing grants on behalf of agencies serving Black youth;
3. Strong writing and planning skills; you must be able to write very well;
4. Experience in applying for governmental grants;
5. Relationships in the foundation and business community; and
6. The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Education: At least a Bachelors Degree, Masters level preferred
