Description: Participants in this workshop will obtain and/or increase their understanding of the inter-relationship between the SEA Information Management System (LACES), local, state and federal reporting requirements including the National Reporting System (NRS), and Program Monitoring. An overview of LACES, NRS and the SEA Monitoring System will be provided. Participants will have an opportunity to review and analyze data in LACES; gain greater clarity about the types of data that is collected and maintained; explore ways in which data can be used for program quality improvement purposes; and examine how the monitoring system can be used by program management to facilitate improved agency and program performance and student outcomes.
