ESOL Resources
ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages, and ESL for English as a Second Language. Communities all over the country are seeing increased numbers of people who may not speak English or may not speak the language well enough to handle all of the tasks required to succeed in work and family life. Many schools, religious institutions, libraries, and community colleges offer ESOL classes and resources both in English and in various other languages to help new community members with limited English proficiency (LEP).
