AALPD's Professional Development Registry
If you are engaged in designing and/or delivering professional development services to adult literacy teachers, the Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers’ (AALPD) Professional Development Registry offers tools such as facilitator guides, workshop agendas and outlines, and manuals that have been created for the professional development of Adult Literacy, Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teachers and other practitioners.

The Social Action & Leadership School for Activists of the Institute for Policy Studies offers affordable classes to make you and your organization more effective.
SALSA is:

The ESL Guidebook on DCTV
The ESL Guidebook is a 10-minute TV show for ESL teachers interested in conducting conversation circles. This particular program features the ESL conversation circles conducted by Cristina Commack and Cara Fulton in the summer of 2004 course. Janet Blackwell also briefly demonstrates the Freirean method. The program is broadcast on Channel 6 if you use Comcast as your cable company and Channel 11 if you use Starpower.
